Day 1
Day 1: Balule Rest Camp, Kruger National Park

Stretching over more than two million hectares, the Kruger National Park is one of the world’s largest game reserves and a truly remarkable destination. Owing to its exceptional size, visitors are able to experience fantastic diversity – from changing scenery and ecosystems to an impressive array of animals, plant life and birdlife. The park is home to over 130 mammals and over 500 bird species. Visitors can look forward to learning about the area’s prehistoric past, enjoying a host of accommodation options, and viewing abundant wildlife including the famed Big Five. The diversity sheer density of wildlife makes Kruger National Park an unforgettable and potentially life-changing experience.

Day 2: Satara Main Camp, Kruger National Park

Overnight: Satara Main Camp

Satara Camp is situated in an excellent game viewing area, with the bush relatively open and the animals plentiful and diverse. The camp is surrounded by huge grass plains which are crossed by rivers at regular intervals. The plains attract game, which in turn attracts predators. Satara is well wooded and the birdlife is prolific. The camp has a wonderful lawn in front of the restaurant and cafeteria where you can relax and watch game at the waterhole on the other side of the fence. Accommodation includes over 100 campsites as well as a range of bungalows sleeping between 2 and 3 guests.

Day 3
Day 3: Marc's Camp, Hoedspruit

Hoedspruit

Resting at the foot of the Klein Drakensberg, in the beautiful Limpopo Province, the town of Hoedspruit is surrounded by the largest privately owned conservation area in the world. It is sandwiched between the world famous Kruger National Park and the breathtakingBlyde River Canyon. Hoedspruit serves as a great base from which to explore the surrounding game reserves and natural attractions. This spectacular landscape features towering cliffs shadowing over enormous stretches of bushveld that give way to marula, acacia and mopane woodlands. Within this wilderness paradise, some of Africa’s most captivating wildlife can be spotted. Visitors can enjoy a number of activities including: Big 5 game drives, whitewater rafting, horse riding safaris, visiting the Khamai Reptile Park as well as the Daktari Wildlife Orphanage.

Overnight: Marc's Camp

Marc’s Treehouse Lodge offers rustic but comfortable accommodation geared to put one in close contact with the sights, sounds and scents of the wild. The treehouses are made of wood and reeds under thatch and blend harmoniously into the dense riverine vegetation.

Creature comforts include electric fans, mosquito nets and comfortable beds, with linen, towels and soap provided. Each treehouse has its own private ablutions and has a viewing deck overlooking the perennial Klaserie River or the “Breakfast” Dam, where animals often come to drink.

The treehouses are unobtrusively located on the elevated banks of the river, providing excellent views of the terrain. Marc’s Treehouse Lodge is part of the Motlala Game Reserve which boasts well-watered grazing for its varied fauna. White and Black Rhino, Buffalo, Giraffe, Zebra along with the numerous antelope have made the Motlala Reserve a real wildlife paradise.

Day 4
Day 4: Kruger Park Lodge, Hazyview

Hazyview

Surrounded by subtropical fruit orchards, Hazyview is a small farming town and a gateway to the southern part of the Kruger National Park and the Panorama Escarpment. The town and its spectacularly scenic surroundings serve as a popular adventure capital with a remarkable array of exhilarating outdoor activities on offer to suit all ages, tastes and fitness levels. These include, among others: mountain biking, quad biking, ziplining, tubing, abseiling, and river rafting. Whether you are eager to hike the Panorama Route with its breathtaking views and impressive waterfalls, visit the Shangana Cultural Village, or horse ride along the banks of the magnificent Sabie River, Hazyview has something for just about everyone.

Overnight: Kruger Park Lodge

Tucked away between miles of untamed bushveld lies an oasis of lush green lawns, flowing water and all the luxuries of a gracious lifestyle. It’s called the Kruger Park Lodge. Built on the banks of the picturesque Sabie River and surrounded by indigenous gardens abundant with bird life, impala and hippo, the lodge has something for everyone. Enjoy long walks along our nature trail, relax around one of our three swimming pools or, better still, rise to the challenges offered by our 9 hole Gary Player designed golf course.
