Okavango Panhandle

Situated in the northwestern area of the Okavango Delta, the Panhandle is a stretch of the Okavango River that follows a more-or-less straight course for approximately 70 kilometres before entering the wetlands. This deep channel serves as the main water source feeding the delta and offers excellent tiger and bream fishing, while the surrounding woodlands and the river’s shallow waters teem with a myriad of birds. The Okavango Panhandle is dotted with several villages and serves as a gateway to the scenic Tsodilo Hills, some 40 kilometres west, with their various tribal cave paintings, some dating back as far as 20 000 years. Overnight: Mbiroba Camp

Mbiroba Camp is situated on the Okavango River floodplain beside Seronga, a small, remote village at the northern end of the Okavango Delta. Guests can explore the many facets of traditional African life at Mbiroba. The camp accommodations are in 5 two floor chalets with bathroom, outdoor shower, solar water heating and lighting. There are also shaded camping areas with ablutions, gas water heating and laundry facilities. Tents, sleeping bags and mattresses may be hired from the camp. Amenities include excellent ablutions, a curio shop, as well as an extensive lounge area with bar and restaurant.

Terms and Conditions


  • A 40% deposit of the full amount due is required to confirm any reservation and is to be done by the agent or client by fax or e-mail.
  • The Company must receive the balance of the contract price no later than 40 days prior to departure. 3. If the Company does not receive the full contract price 40 days before the departure date, the Company may cancel the reservation and retain whatever deposit or other funds it has already received from the client or his agent.
  • The payment can be done via Bank Transfer or Online Credit Card Payment into Enrico's Tours and Safaris
  • Differences due to currency fluctuations will not be accepted by Enrico’s Tours & Transfers..
  • Namibian Dollar is not a international trading currency and will encounter larger handling fees due to conversions 7. Any cancellation of a confirmed booking must be done in writing (email) to the Company.
  • If the booking is cancelled, the following fees apply relative to the amount of notice given: >30 + days: Deposit forfeited 15-30 days: 50% of invoiced amount refunded 14 or less days: No refund

  • If a booking is changed to an earlier date than originally reserved, the Company will endeavour to change it. But if changed to a further date there will be a charge of 5% on invoice value.
  • The Company reserves the right to increase the price of any tour prior to departure due to factors such as Fuel increase, new Government legislation, accommodation price increases, and fluctuations in exchange rates, etc
